Carrie Underwood has released her first holiday album, My Gift.
Her first studio release since 2018’s Cry Pretty, My Gift encompasses Christmas classics and Underwood originals. Traditional songs such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Away in a Manger” appear on My Gift alongside originals “Let There Be Peace” and “Sweet Baby Jesus.” Her stirring cover of “The Little Drummer Boy” stars her son, Isaiah Fisher, while “Hallelujah” sees Underwood link up with John Legend for a stunning duet.
“As per tradition, had to go buy the CD at the store!” the singer recently tweeted, holding a copy of the album while wearing a face mask. “As not per tradition, I had to wear a mask! I promise I’m smiling, though!”

My Gift will be accompanied by an Underwood holiday special set to air later this year via HBO Max. For the special production, the singer will perform her Christmas songs with a choir and orchestra. Underwood serves as executive producer alongside the likes of Tom Hanks, Gary Goetzman and her manager Ann Edelblute.
