Brett Young covers Gavin DeGraw’s “Not Over You”

Young’s appreciation for the singer-songwriter is no secret.

As a huge Gavin DeGraw fan, Brett Young frequently covers “Not Over You” in his live shows. And now, as part of his Spotify Singles EP, the country singer finally has recorded a studio cover of the hit pop song.

Young’s version of the sentimental song starts off with an acoustic guitar, as opposed to DeGraw’s original piano-led opening. Booming drums and low piano chords join the mix as the song progresses, lending the track a soft rock vibe.

The country star is set to be a special guest on Kelsea Ballerini’s upcoming tour. Ballerini also recently released a Spotify Singles EP, where she covered Shawn Mendes’ “Lost in Japan.”
