Aubrie Sellers finds her “Lucky Charm” on passionate new track

Her sophomore album, ‘Far from Home,’ arrives this Friday.

Aubrie Sellers has released a romantic new song titled “Lucky Charm.”

The singer-songwriter tries her hand at country rock on the track, which is dedicated to Sellers’ boyfriend of five years Ethan Ballinger. “You’re my lucky charm, that’s what you are / I want to keep you on a keychain / ’Cause you’re such a good thing / Like a shooting star, I’m lucky that you’re mine,” she sings over jangly electric guitars and drum beats.

“Ethan has been a constant for me,” Sellers told Billboard. “My very early touring days, I felt really alone and lost. It’s a world of difference in how I feel and how comfortable I am, and what the experience is like when you’re able to share it with someone who is always there and feels like family on the road.”

“Lucky Charm” is the second preview of Sellers’ forthcoming album, Far from Home, following the title track which came out last November. The record, her follow-up to her 2016 debut New City Blues, arrives this Friday.
