Alabama to treat fans to New Year’s Eve virtual concert

In partnership with Camping World.

Legendary country group Alabama are ending the year on a high note: they’ve just announced a livestream concert to be held on New Year’s Eve as part of Camping World’s The Ultimate RV Show.

“What better way to start the New Year than to have a free concert on New Year’s Eve for our fans around the world?” said the band in a statement, per The Music Universe. “We cannot wait to get back on tour soon, and want to see you in-person. Sit back, relax, crank up the sound and ‘ROLL ON’ into 2021. Wishing you a very happy New Year.”

The virtual set will be the band’s first public performance since their 50th anniversary tour in 2019, which was cut short due to lead vocalist Randy Owen’s health complications. It also follows their latest studio album, 2015’s Southern Drawl, and the 2017 holiday collection American Christmas. Just last year, coinciding with their 50th celebrations, the band were also inducted into the Musician’s Hall of Fame, in addition to earning a Lifetime Achievement Award.

The stream will be available at from 9pm Eastern Time on December 31. While you wait, listen to Alabama’s latest record American Christmas below:
